Amphitrite cave is located between the islands of Antiparos and Paros in Greece. It is a sea cave with two small entrances on the sea bed at a depth of around 6 m and in close vicinity of a small rocky island. In contrast with those small openings the cave itself is huge with a maximal depth around 50 m. It is very much decorated with a lot of speleothems of different sizes, from tiny straw like stalactites to huge columns. A thin deposit of white sediment covers most of the formations mimicking a layer of snow. The water is crystal clear with a visibility of more than 30 m and the temperature is pleasant, between 15 and 25 °C.
Divers: Stratis Kas and Spyros Kollas
